Water Tanks are important in every house and most houses install tanks random in different direction wherever it is suitable. However, water tanks have their own place and direction where installation of water resources is considered ideal.


Overhead Water Tank

It should be installed only in South-West direction because South-West should be the heaviest direction in Home. Placement of Tank in this direction equate the energies and bring Health, Property and all round peace. Avoid Over Head in North-East as it leads to unnecessary expenses and losses.Also, avoid Over Head Tank in North and East direction.


Underhead Water Tank

It should be dug in North-East direction while making sure that it should not be placed on the Axis line North-East to South-West. A Underground tank in North-East make this Area light & down which is considered to be highly auspicious as North-East should be Light as well as lowest at Home. It’s the direction known as ‘Ishaan’ means Ishwar . It’s the direction of Lord Shiva. A Vaastu Compliant NE gives Health, Wealth, Peace & Property to the occupants. Avoid Under ground tank in South-West, South , South-East or West Direction.


Vaastu for Septic Tank
  • The Pit for Septic Tank should be done with caution as any discrepancy could lead to negativity .
  • It should be placed in such a way that it doesn’t face South-East, South-West or North-East.
  • Ideal location for Septic Tank is North-West.

  • The Segregation of Septic Tank should be in a way that the water goes to Eastern Side while excretion waste goes in Western side.
  • Length of Septic Tank should be in East-West side while breadth in South-North.
  • It should always be constructed to the ground level and must not touch the main wall of the house.
