HARMONIOUS RELATION WITH HUMAN BODY

Vedic sages recognized that both the arms of a normal human - when fully extended to the right and left of the body - equals the measurement of a human from the sole of the feet to the top of the head.  Hence, height and breadth of the human being fits perfectly in a square shaped plot and building.  A famous drawing of Leonardo da Vinci illustrates the same theory.  His depiction of a man drawn in proportions to fit both a square and a circle was inspired by the principles laid down by the first century B.c.  Roman architect, Marcus Vitruvius.  A plot or building, which is considered as a live object in vaastu, is in perfect harmony with the size of its occupant when approaching a square shape.
