Vaastu For Shops

For running their business people have to establish shops at some suitable place in the cities , towns or colonies . The shop may be one's own or a rented one . For successful business it is necessary to build the shops or business organisations according to the principles of Vaastu Shastra , and also the seating arrangement and settings inside the shops or offices be made according to these principles . Many people have been found saying that inspite of hard work and many efforts, such and such concern is not doing good business and it is going in loss. A shop or a business concern is the place where a person sits to carry on the process of sale and purchase of items or related transactions. According to Vaastu Shastra the door through which a customer enters is considered to be the face of the shop / business concern.

 Its auspiciousness should be known as follows:

 


The owner or the salesman should sit in the shop or commercial office facing toward East or North it createa troubles and gives loss if the seat counter is facing south or west, the south-facing shops are no more inauspicious if there are shops opposite to these shops also. 

Shape and size 

  • If a shop or commercial office has less width in the front than that in the rear , it is known as Gaumukhi shape . Such shape is not auspicious for business purposes. 

  • If the width of a shop or commercial office is more in the front and less in the rear , the shape is called Singhmukhi ; it is auspicious and beneficial for commercial purposes . 

  • Four sided rectangular or square shapes are good and auspicious. 

  • Shops or commercial offices having triangular shape, irregular shape, extended at the corners (other than the North-East corner) are inauspicious . Such situations cause loss of money and of mental peace also. 

  • There should not be a threshold (door - sill) at the entrance of the shop or business concern. Slope towards the entrance is also inauspicious. It makes the profits unstable. 

  • Floor of the shop or business concern should be kept clean and attractive. 

  • It is auspicious to install the idols of god Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi on the right hand side or in North 

  • Auspicious symbols such as a Swastik should be marked Comprehensive Commercial Vaastu and " Shubh - Labh ' ' Rddhi - Siddhi ' words written on the wall in the shop . Cash counter should be placed facing North . Cash box should never be left blank or empty . 

  • Favourite GOD- should be remembered and prayers be offered in the morning and evening , with lighting a lamp and incense - stick ( Agarbatti ) .Owner or principal's office must be constructed in South - West or South direction only so that she / he can sit facing North 

  • Presence of a tree or pole etc. in front of the shop causes Vedh , which is inauspicious . It creates problems and disturbances in the business , such Vedh should be avoided . 

  • In the North - East portion of the shop less and only right items should be placed . Heavy items should be kept in Southwest portion . It is auspicious to keep the North East corner empty or reserved for the worship of God.

    Tips For Shops

    • The seating arrangement of the owner should be done in such a manner,that he/she faces east or North direction, while carrying out his/her activities.

    • South and west direction are not recommended, as as they are considered the source of trouble and loss to the business.

    • Square or rectangular shape shop is auspicious.

    • Irregularly shaped showrooms are likely to cause loss to business.

    • While constructing the shop/showroom,make sure that there is no slop towards the main entrance,as it obstructs the path of profits.

    • Prefer placing the idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on the right or Northeastern corners of the shop. 

    • For installing the cash counter, choose a place facing North side . In case if the box is very heavy, such a hefty almirah or safe, it is suggested to go for the Southwest corner of the shop . Make sure that the door of the almirah / safe opens towards the North. 

    • You can keep the heavy items in the Southwest side of the shop. 

    • In case you have planned to install television or computer in your shop then assign the southeast corner of the shop.

    • In order to retain the positive energy within your shop,make sure that all the doors open inside. Make sure that the hinges of the door are not noisy . If so , grease them 

    • It is recommended that the doors of your shop should open towards the right side . Adorn your shop's premises by growing small decorative plants and shrubs in the North and East . 

    •  A known and famous shop is identified by its name & goodwill which can be earned by proper construction of shop / showroom. A Vaastu compliant shop is constructed with to proper orientation ,directional method and keeping in mind design quintessentially for the placement of things like cash counter , placement of shop material . Today more and more number of people is running after Vaastu guidance to make their shop according to Vaastu norms which is believed to bring success and overall peace and economic growth.


    Some beneficial Vaastu tips for Shop / Showroom are as follows: 

    • Owner of shop must sit according to Vaastu and ideally South or West is best so that he / she must face East or north.

    • Plot or site of shop must be in regular shape such Any irregularity or square and avoid irregular or cut property.

    • Any irregularity or extension from wrong direction may bring bad luck, losses in business. 

    • Entrance of shop is recommended in east or north-east. 

    • Cash counter must be installed somewhere so that counter should open towards North and while locker cash room should be constructed towards South - West opening in North. 

    • Keep heavy material such as raw material or dumping stuff on the South - West portion. 

    • Computer, television or other electronic equipment must be incorporated in South - East corner of shop Make sure main door and other doors of shop must not make noise.
